Becky Fuentes, Director
Miss Becky has been dancing since 1985 and has studied under Kathleen Ramich, Stacy J. and Julie Irwin to name a few. She has competed in local pageants and cheerleading and has performed in local dinner theatre. She has been teaching dance since 1996. She earned her bachelor's degree from University of Washington in 2004 and her master's degree in teaching in 2006 and has over 20 years experience working with children, coaching cheerleading, dance teams and teaching dance classes. She co-founded two performance teams and has had students perform at Disneyland, Macy's Christmas Day Parade, Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho, University of Washington halftime shows, Lights of Christmas, AquaSox baseball games, the Evergreen State Fair and numerous festivals, parades and community events. She has produced dance numbers for local cheer teams, dance competitions, pageants and productions (AristoCats and Legally Blonde to name a few). She continues to take master classes and attends conventions and workshops regularly. She is excited to bring her experience and love of dance to Stanwood and to offer excellent technique, energetic classes and amazing opportunities for her students!
Megan Smith, Assistant Director
Miss Megan grew up in the area and has been dancing since she was very young. She is trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop and performance. She has performed all over the Western United States with her favorite venue being Disneyland. She has been teaching dance for a number of years in Snohomish County and is a certified Zumba instructor. She started working with Miss Becky in 2004. She continues to attend professional dance classes and workshops and is excited to teach technique and choreography to Premiere Dance & Performing Arts students!
Melissa Bostrom, Business and Production Manager
Miss Melissa grew up in Snohomish County and has been involved in the dance world since she was very young. She works in our front office as well as on the creative side of production. She has also worked closely with Junior Olympic rhythmic teams for years and as a former dancer and a conditioning coach, Miss Melissa brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience on the subject. Her student assistant is a two time Junior Olympian, Region II Champion Ball, Ribbon and Floor 2010. Wait until you see what she can do! She is also extremely organized and does whatever needs to be done for our competition team. She has organized several rhythmic gymnastics meets and coordinates our dance competitions. We are glad to have her on board!
Tiffany Krusey, Instructor
Miss Tiffany has vast experience with dance, theatre and has even done film. She has been an instructor, performer and choreographer since 1996. She attended school in California and moved to Washington in 1997 where she earned her BA from the University of Washington in Theatre Arts. She holds high standards for her students and creates amazing works of choreography. She will also be working with our theatre arts students where they will learn all aspects of learning and blocking a script as well as performance technique to present their best on stage. Miss Tiffany is very knowledgeable in her field and we are very excited to welcome Miss Tiffany to the Premiere team!
Tori Aguirre, Instructor
Miss Tori has danced since she was young and has competed with "In the Spotlight" competition team. She is trained in ballet, lyrical, hip hop and jazz. She also has a background in cheerleading. She has performed all over Washington and Oregon and continues to attend classes and workshops. Miss Tori has performed to a crowd of over 60,500 at the University of Washington halftime show and continues to seek opportunities to perform and take class from master instructors. Miss Tori also works with young children of all ability levels and will be happy to take your dancer to the next level. We are happy to have her!
Kaylie DeFolo, Instructor
Miss Kaylie brings with her a love for dance! She has trained in ballet and jazz and has competed with "In the Spotlight" competition team. She loves working with children and is living her dream of being a dance teacher. Having danced for many years, she will bring excitement and solid technique to class. Recently, Miss Kaylie won the "Broadway Bound" title at Thunderstruck Dance Competition. She continues to compete and attend conventions and master classes. We are lucky to have her as an instructor!
Kara DeFolo, Ballroom Instructor
Miss Kara began dancing in 1997 and has training in ballet, jazz and hip hop, along with a cheerleading background. She has a passion specifically for salsa and is presently advancing her training in all ballroom types. She continues to take master classes and attends conventions and competitions. She loves a challenge and is dedicated to putting her best dancing foot forward, learning something new each day. Kara and Za will be teaching beginning ballroom for all ages and all ability levels, and are extremely ecstatic to be spicing up Stanwood!
Za Thomaier, Ballroom Instructor
Za Thomaier, 22-year-old sophomore in college, was born into a family of ballroom dance instructors. He has been teaching ballroom for nearly two years, specializing in the varieties of swing: West Coast, Lindy, and East Coast singles and triples with tricks, dips, and lifts. Za’s repertoire also includes Salsa, Rumba, Cha-cha, Tango, Foxtrot, and Waltz. In the musical theatre production of CATS in 2008 he played the villain McCavity, using dance and martial arts to create an explosive fight scene. Za is a Black Belt in martial arts, and the strength and precision honed from four years of instructing Ki Hon and Kenwakai transfer to his ballroom expertise.
Andie Aldridge, Zumba Instructor
Andie Aldridge has a great spirit that is contagious in her classes. You will often see people laughing and dancing to some upbeat music as well as hooting and hollering! This really is more than a workout-its a party! Andie started out taking Zumba classes and her love for this dance-style party grew until she was leading classes! Her students express Andie's attention to their well being as well as to their fitness. She helps students set and reach goals in a fun group setting!

Jordan Hackett, Substitute Instructor
Miss Jordan has been dancing since she was very small, 2.5 years old, in fact! She has taken classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and tap and continues to pursue tap through classes and workshops. Miss Jordan was the captain of her high school dance team and has one first place at nationals! Miss Jordan also has an extensive background working with children and is excited about the opportunity to work with our young dancers. When you see her in class, make sure to say hello!
